small cooking pot
1/2 cup of oat flakes
1/2 cup almond milk (or other vegetable milk)
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1/2 apple in cubes
1/2 apple in cubes for the topping
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup pecan nuts in smaller pieces
1 tsp coconut fat
maple syrup to taste
Boil the oat flakes, almond milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut sugar and 1/2 apple together for about 8 to 10 minutes.
In the saucepan, melt the coconut fat and bake the resp of the apple together with the pecans and a bit of maple syrup.
Serve with the caramelized apples and pecans on top. Add some extra maple syrup.
