Judías verdes con pimentón

For this recipe, I have to thank my parents and my Spanish family. Okay maybe just half Spain …

MATERIAL

casserole
steam oven or cooking pot

350 gr string beans
2 to 3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp grilled sweet paprika
1/2 onion chopped
2 small potatoes
1 to 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
salt and pepper
olive oil

Cut the ends of the beans and cut each bean into 3 pieces and peal the potatoes.
Steam the beans and potatoes. About 30 min should be enough. If you do not have a steamer boil them in salted water until soft.

Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil, add the beans and potatoes to it. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with paprika powder and extinguish with the white vinegar. Bake for another 5 mins and stir well.
Sprinkle with some olive oil and serve it!

TIP

Use grilled sweet paprika of good quality. No ordinary paprika, which has barely taste or color.

The vinegar is a must!

    Hallo,

Je hebt het over “goed paprikapoeder”. Kun je een voorbeeld geven? 🙂 Wat is een goed merk? Vind je het in de gewone supermarkt?

    Groetjes!

Hey Ine, bij Albert Heijn verkopen ze een goede. Een rood rechthoekig blikken doosje, Spaans merk.

      Groetjes en succes!
